Manapouri & Circle Track Transport

Departs from Jetty at Pearl Harbour, Manapouri to start of track (across the river)

Water taxi & Row Boats – Departs 11am & 3pm Daily, (Oct to April)
$5.00 per person each way.
Note: this is a scheduled service and does not require booking

Departures from Accommodation - Te Anau
Bus departs from accommodation at 10.30am and drops off at jetty in Manapouri, then returns after walk back to Te Anau approx 4.15pm. - $40.00 p.p. (includes return water taxi & return bus from Te Anau)
This service does need booked.

Row Boat hire - Manapouri
Row Boats can be hired for day and overnight use.

Full day hire $20.00 per boat, hire after 1pm $10.00 or overnight hire $30.00.

Hire Row Boats at jetty 11am or 3pm (oct-April) or phone Donna or Mike on (03) 249 8070. Row boats can also be hired at the Manapouri Store.

Row Boats can be used for-
Fishing- Rowboats can be used for fishing in the river provided they are 100 meters from the wharf at Pearl Harbour and you hold a current fishing licence. Fishing rods & licence's can be hired from local shop

Sightseeing on river- Row boats are for use in the river only and cannot be taken onto the lake, river provides opportunities for viewing bird life, native bush and just enjoying the peace of being on the river.

To access walking track- Walking track approx 15 min row across river to track, where it can be tied to a jetty and be left waiting for your return. (See map)

*Maximum per Row Boat of 4 persons
*Life jackets supplied with all row boats must be worn.

Transport from Te Anau can be arranged and is $15.00 per person each way.
