This is a valley walk, through very pretty native bush with forests of ferns, dripping moss, native orchids, fungi, and moss gardens all set amid the delicate backdrop of bird song.
Native Fantail birds dance about waving their pretty black and white tail fan around eating flies and chirping merrily. The tinkling of water provides anticipation of discovering crystal clear rivers and creeks with the interesting wire bridge at Back Valley.
While this walk is fairly easy, if you are doing it all in 1 day you will need a good level of fitness as there are a good number of km's to cover.
