Hope Arm Track

Access: Via River Taxi from Manapouri

Hope Arm has a great beach for swimming and fishing. There's a DOC campsite available at one end with sandy floor and shelter or a hut at the other for a good night's rest if you have the gear.

The track to the beach and hut is gradually undulating with stunning trees and bush along the way. The bush here is more lush than in other areas of Fiordland nearby and is home to some amazing big tree specimens. Lazy creeks with crystal clear water and sandy bottoms provide interludes to the bush. Longer walks start from this point like the trip to Snow White Clearing and Mount Titiroa.

Amazing bird life, funny robins, relaxing on the beach, stunning views on top of the hill.
